Today I'm offering a very low mileage and extremely hard to find 2013 Ford Police Interceptor SUV. These are based off of the extremely popular civilian Ford Explorer SUV. The most important fact is the Police Interceptor is not made available to the general public. Among many of the performance upgrades the engine size has been enlarged from a 3.5L to a 3.7L, it has heavy duty police brakes w/ABS & traction control, both engine & transmission oil coolers, a heavy duty suspension including AdvanceTrac with RSC a high speed stability management system, pursuit rated performance tires, 220amp alternator and they are built to withstand a 75 mph rear end collision. This is the real deal, purpose built replacement for the tried and true Crown Victoria P71. It is fastly becoming the vehicle that all American Law Enforcement Agencies want in their fleets. It provides an excellent mix of visibility for the driver, the highest rating for crash safety from the US government, ample space for cargo or passengers, great high speed pursuit capabilities, good fuel mileage and a superior ride. There is currently no better all purpose vehicle for law enforcement which in turn translates into a truly special vehicle for the civilian market. I've had several of these and I really enjoy driving them, due to this the mileage might be a tad bit higher. The new body explorers are fantastic vehicles and the Police Interceptors take it a step or two above. You will be hard pressed to find a vehicle this unique. It does have a most all of the creature comfort items in a civilian model and is very comfortable to drive but for the few that might like to add leather seats and the such this could very easily be done making this truly a 1 of a kind vehicle.
