I am selling my 1994 Ford Ranger Splash which is in near new condition with only 1685 miles on it. I purchased it with 1449 miles on it and drove it home which added most of the additional 200+ miles to it. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner ordered it new in 1994 from Fred Martin Ford in Youngstown, Ohio. The original sticker price back then was $16,668 (included) which I understood to be his cost since it was ordered versus on the lot. He drove it some initially and then added it to his collection. The 2nd owner heard about the truck and started communicating with the 1st owner about purchasing it. Around 2009, the 2nd owner bought it. He hauled it to the Atlanta area in an enclosed trailer. He kept it in an Air Chamber (view on You Tube) in his garage and added about 6 or 7 miles to it until I purchased it about 4 months ago. My plans were to make it an occasional driver and possibly a daily driver out of it. However, I almost feel guilty about adding miles to it, so before I do, I decided to offer it for sale. The truck runs, drives, and smells like new. I can't get over the new car smell when you get in it. I put new tires on it before I drove it home from Atlanta. It's not that the old tires looked bad (they will be included with purchase), but several mechanics recommended it due to the age. Also replaced were the front calipers. They were sticky from lack of use. Since I purchased it, I added a tonneau cover and trailer hitch ( have not towed with it yet). There are a few small, minor blemishes on the clear coat where something rubbed up on it. The paint is not affected. There are 3 very small chips where someone may have put a tow hitch on the bumper at one time. Not sure if that's what caused it. It is still a great looking truck.I am located in Dothan, AL. Dust cover will be included with truck. I wanted to add that the truck was undercoated by the first owner. I don't know if it was the Ford dealer or someone else. But it gives it extra corrosion protection! It also has lumbar seats (air bags) which can be inflated or deflated. And the current mileage is 1685. Between now and the time it sells (if it does) mileage might change minimally. This truck is a head turner! You won't be disappointed. Price a new pick up lately?
