Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1997 Land Cruiser. The condition of this truck is truly remarkable for a 19 year old classic Land Cruiser. Its been driven an average of 10k miles per year and has been babied and well taken care of both physically and mechanically. I get complements every time I take her out for the occasional drive (this is not my daily driver). Again, mechanically the truck is excellent and needs nothing. Within the last 4,000 miles it received brand new Michelin MTX tires, oil change, new starter, new battery and new alternator. In the past, it has had the shocks replaced, valve gaskets redone, along with various odds and ends to make sure this truck is operating in perfect health. Additionally, I should add that it has never had a cooling problem or an issue with the head gasket (which is most always a result of cooling issues). The transmission shifts perfectly, truck rides great, etc. The paint is also as good as it looks in the pictures, if not better. It had had some very minor touch-ups for the very few and minor rock chips (with the OEM paint stick you can purchase from Toyota) but looks great. With my perfect feedback on the line, you will NOT be disappointed in this truck. Items to disclose; the front speaker is blown but I'm sending it off to be repaired (OEM). The back window (you can kind of tell from the pictures) shows a very little bit of the tint fading on the upper left hand side - very common to cruisers. There are a couple minor scuffs on the bumpers but you have to look hard to see them, and there has been a repaired rock chip in the upper center of the windshield behind the review mirror (not traveling and has been filled). All in all this truck is awesome and I think that's it! Yes, it does have the locking differential and yes it does engage perfectly. I should also mention the history. It was a two owner vehicle prior to my purchase in December 2014. I then sold it to an acquaintance and then bought it back since he didn't have room for it. I now don't have the room either and also have a third child on the way so the toys need to be reduced. Vehicle also has no rust on the body or under the truck. No interior smells either. Everything electrically works. This is a nice one!
