I bought the car new and have maintained it as my primary car for 18 years. The engine and transmission have always performed flawlessly but it does have some issues. The tires, brakes, struts are in excellent condition and the oil was changed in August. As seen in the pictures, there is some rust on the front passenger door. It doesn't have the original radio, but does have a 2014 Pioneer CD/sat/radio with Bluetooth that works very well. For 17 years there has been a check system notification of a "brake circuit" problem, although there is no problem. It has had no major damage, although it was in a minor rear-ender and had damage to the left front quarter panel many many years ago. In August, during normal driving the right rear strut tower broke through the frame of the car. It was fully repaired by welding it back to the car frame - a major repair, obviously. The power locks and power windows work, but the power locks and driver window stick some. Upon taking that photo, I noticed that the hood no longer stays open without support, as it was originally designed to.Also, a photo of the passenger side of the car has been added. I noticed that the original passenger side full shot I uploaded was 4 years old and did not represent how the car is today. The BMW decorations are no longer on the wheels and the rust has progressed over the past 4 years.All other photos are completely representative, most importantly the passenger side close ups showing the rust and other dings on that side of the car.
