Been in my family for 25 years. I drove it from Michigan down here to Florida and had to park it because gas got pretty expensive to be a daily driver! I put it in storage for about five years, and nature took its toll. I wasnt able to go start it or keep it moving, so it hasnt been started in five years. The engine is the strongest selling point in this car though! I believe youll just need a new starter, new gaskets, and fluids and you should have the power plant youd expect from a 2 barrel 289 V8. Sounded great w the dual flowmasters too... sigh... The body needs obvious rust repair, the pans will need to be replaced (normal for a 50 yr old car), I would reinforce the front rails before taking it on the road, and i tried to highlight the troublesome areas in the pictures. Im definitely not trying to hide anything, I want you to know exactly what youre getting into. If youre looking around, I believe you'll find a ton of six cylinders, or partially restored, (and usually pretty sorry work) or fully restored 8 cylinders for a hefty price. If you have the means to take care of this car, you'll be extremely happy... and honestly so will I. I'd love to hear that its back on the road. You are responsible for the pickup/delivery, but I've found that some companies are extremely more affordable than I expected. Any questions PLEASE ASK!
