You are looking at what I believe is a used ESTATE 1966 FORD MUSTANG NHRA Super Street /Super Gas DRAGSTER ROLLING CHASSIS PROVEN WINNER I QUIT RACING.I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SINCE 1973.. MY DAD BOUGHT IT NEW IN 1966. I DROVE IT TO HIGH SCHOOL THEN MADE A NHRA LEGAL SUPER STREET/ SUPER GAS CAR. Has BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE 2005. DUE TO A FAMILY MEMBERS HEALTH PROBLEMS AT THAT TIME and subsequent death... IT HAS BEEN SITTING EVER SINCE. Car WILL HOOK IN DIRT. A SAFE, CONSISTENT RELIABLE CAR. CAR WON THE LAST NHRA SANCTIONED DIVISIONAL IN SUPER STREET IN TULSA OKLAHOMA.(GALLERY PICTURE IS ACTUALLY FROM THAT NHRA RACE I WON IN 1991 A WELL KNOWN CAR ON THE CIRCUIT BACK THEN. Car Is set up for a 460 Ford and 2 speed Power glide transmission. (I have the mid plate adapter that goes with it as well.) has 4 wheel racing disc brakes..Has Auto meter monster recall tach, air shifter with delay boxes and timer. ( digital delay) racing 9" ford rear end with 4.86 gears and strange 33 spline axles. I believe it has a aluminum center too, if not then it is a nodular iron one.( NO STOCK STUFF HERE) Still has the drive shaft hooked to it. Ladder bar with adjustable coil overs on rear. Alston.A arm with coil overs on front. Aluminum radiator with fan.. Has dual Holley fuel pumps and Harwood fuel cell in the back with Moroso cleanable filters Has Rare Cragar Super Slot wheels. Wheels will clean up like new... front and back 14X32 rubber on back and the small 22" tires on the front.. Has One of the first (at that time) Funny Car cages around the driver. It ALWAYS passed inspection and certified by NHRA but thats been 10 years ago and i have no reason to believe it will not certify today. FULL STEEL.CHASSIS..not a partial... IT IS A SAFE STURDY CAR. Has removable transmission tunnel and some of the floor for easy motor trans changing. All I did when I parked it was pull out the motor and transmission and sold it. I had plans of putting the car back on the street, but lost interest. Has lexan windows all around. NEEDS SOME TLC and cleaning up.Pretty dusty inside and out.Only fiberglass body panels is the hood and scoop. (hood has a crack on the front edge...easily fixed by a competent body man) CAR WEIGHS 2800 LBS Race READY with 200 lb driver. Car has CLEAR original title.
