Vehicle Detail

No Reserve! Bid to own! 1976 Cadillac Seville 4dr Sedan. Survivor! Runs good, shifts smooth and brakes great.Instant Style with like new red line tires, red pinstripe, and sweet red interior. Usual Cadillac power conveniences work, like windows, door locks and leather seats. Perfectly working tilt, telescopic steering column, with steering wheel horn button. Headlights, turn signals, reverse lights, floor headlight dimmer, and wipers work. Cold air conditioning updated to R12. Radio works fine and 8-track player functions, but could use a track alignment. As usual with old 8 tracks, some finesse and a special touch may be required to utilize it for maximum efficiency. Power antenna malfunctions, and the cruise control is not working. Interior is in very good condition. It’s difficult to find any blemishes other than the slight wear and patina. Appears to never have been smoked in. The dash does show a crack, and an adhesive spot. 350 Rocket 4bbl, automatic trans, body has 96k, told engine has 50k, appears fuel injection was replaced with a Quadrajet 4bbl. Runs good, shifts smooth and brakes great. New set of gauges installed, temp and volts, need adapter for oil pressure yet. Carb could use some tuning, and most probably a timing adjustment. The problem is the starter cranks hard after it’s warm. The starter draw from the battery may be too high; a cable may be getting hot, or it might be a simple timing issue. The battery appears ok and says from 11-14, but can crank slow when hot.You can see the hood and trunk lid show storage wear, most likely from a cover with stuff stacked on it in the garage. I am the 2nd or 3rd owner; it was only used in the summer by 1 family before me, and looks like it. This is a true survivor from ’76. I do have the paperwork of ownership since new, including the original title. Both mirror remotes need attention including the mirrors, which are in the car. Rear bumper underside is rusted out; at least it looks good where you can see it mostly. That’s the only rust on the car, the rear bumper. It has the original old style hubcaps, 3 are missing the small wreaths around the Cadillac emblem. It could use a paint job, but it’s presentable. I did notice a door ding on the rear passenger door. You can see the crazing of the original paint on the doors, especially near the handles. And the aforementioned hood and trunk wear and fading. The hood and grille need a body alignment, but all fit tight and hood locks down. Does have the original hood ornament in good condition which can be removed and the hole filled. Big grille has ornament swapped with newer style. Comes complete with the custom large E&G style Rolls Royce grille. I’ve added the 4 chrome headlight shields and visors. That included fastening down the headlight buckets, and new adjustment screws and nuts all around the front. The trim is all in pretty decent shape and all intact. So, a paint job and minimal body work will turn this car into a truly beautiful machine. This car is just about 40 years old, so it’s not mint, but it’s real nice. As-is where is, what you see is what you get, of course. With a little work this car would be very nice and is sure to only go up in value. This vehicle will yard/test drive; will drive on to trailer in good weather conditions. I would not drive it long distances personally, but it runs and drives good!I've done my best to describe this vehicle, in accordance with my higher feedback. However, it's highly encouraged to always inspect vehicles considered for purchase in person or by a qualified inspector. Please make sure to ask any questions you may have before bidding! I will answer all questions as promptly as possible! Questions asked with less than 8 hours to go risk the chance of not getting a reply.I can work with your hauling contractor. I will offer minimal help loading. I can deliver for a cost, or help direct a shipper. I know a local transporter too. I am in Michigan's Upper Peninsula Brimley 49715. I would expect the car to be gone within 30 days. Thanks for checking out my Seville, this body style is getting more rare everyday. Thanks your bid! Priced low to nada classics! No reserve, priced low! I have many many more photos including exhaust and thick brake pads
