This is a 2001 VW Jetta GL we took in on trade for another used vehicle. We were planning to recon and retail it, but we do not have the room to store this vehicle while parts are pulled together and the vehicle is adequately restored for retail sale. Vehicle was running when taken in on trade, but has since ceased to turn over. After having several mechanics look at it we have determined it to be a problem with either the fuel pump or the immobilizer unit. Cranks and starts with ethanol injection but will not stay on. Yes, it has a half tank of gas. Buyer must either pick up or pay shipping. You are welcome to come check the vehicle out before purchasing. Title in possession, will sign over upon sale. To be VERY clear, this vehicle is being sold as a non-functioning unit. It has the capability of being fixed with a few parts and man hours labor, but we are unwilling to put in such time and money as we have too many other cars to attend to. AS-IS.
