Vehicle Detail

Selling my great old 1975 Ford F100 Custom 4x4 (with Boss snowplow). Its not pretty, but starts, runs and stops strong. I've owned it about 5 years, and since no longer plowing snow - time for it to have a new home. 360ci gasoline V8, 4 speed manual transmission (granny + three), power steering, power brakes, manual window cranks and door locks, dual exhaust, dual batteries, manual locking hubs. The Good: Engine, transmission, drive line are all original, and it runs like a champ. All the glass is good - no chips or cracks. Everything works: lights, turn indicators, horn, original AM radio, interior dome light, plow lights, hydraulics, backing light, roof flasher, indicator bulbs, wipers, hi/low beam kick, window cranks, locks, etc. 95% tread remaining on all-season tires (pictured), and it comes with four studded snow tires, on their own wheels, that are at about 80% tread (pictured) The Bad: It uses some oil - about a quart per every two tanks - pretty normal for this year & model (I owned one of these in the mid eighties). Both the front and rear bumpers have been twisted a little on the ends, not horrible, but visible. Probably from bouncing off snowbanks... The Ugly: The body and paint are pretty rough, some light surface rust on hood and in floor of bed, some bondo repairs to the bed have cracks (which are the same now as when I bought it). The only thing I've had to replace is the starter, a $60 part on exchange and an hour to put in. This truck has been a pleasure to own. I've used it a few days a month for my own yard work, dump runs, plowing, and getting to trailheads all over Idaho. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere - it just goes and goes. The true mileage could be anything - its a 5-digit odometer, and the man I bought it from had no idea if it had been rolled over or not. It has 'Sinclair" stenciled on both sides of the engine bay, so it may have been a service station vehicle with little use and low miles - or maybe its been rolled over three or four times - no way to be sure. However, if you drive it, I'm sure you will agree its in outstanding mechanical condition for its age. Currently licensed and insured, clean title in hand. Sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No Money Orders. PayPal for deposit only, balance must be paid in cash or by certified check in person when picking up the truck. It is for sale locally, so auction may end early. If you're local, feel free to email me to view and drive the truck in person. Bid to win!
