This Ford F100 was origianlly purchased off Ebay from Teddy’s Auto Sales in Iowa in June 2014 for $10,000. There was about $5,000 in little extras completed on the truck to make it more original. It was given as a gift and now I am relisting it for the next person to enjoy. This truck’s original description from EBAY June 2014: “I bought this Ford F100 from the 2nd owner who bought it from his uncle (the original owner) in 1998. He drove the truck to and from work during the summers in Hayward WI (north central Wisconsin.) The truck drove from Hayward to my home town Waukon Iowa (5 hour drive) with no issues. I had the truck painted the burgundy and cream it is now and used it in parades locally this spring. When the shop I used to paint it stripped the truck down and to prepare for paint, we found some body filler here and there but overall the truck is very solid. The paint shop used a clear coat. The truck drives great and shifts all gears like it should. The brakes stop the truck like it should. All of the lights are working but the bulbs need replacing. The dash was left he original paint. The box is solid and the tailgate opens and shuts like it should. (see video) The windows all go up and down like they should and all the glass looks good. The chrome is all there and looks great. We had a blast driving this for the local parades and it gets tons of thumbs ups and compliments. MY ADDITIONS: From 2015, approximately $5000 in minor repairs were made to find the “O” in Ford for the front, repair antenna, repair drivers mirror, repair leaking gas line, install new front glass (there was a chip), replace bulbs, and repair dash”. When it was purchased it had painted front bumper and welded on back bumper. I didn’t like the look and had them changed to all chrome “Original” Bumpers. I also added the “1960’s” style California license plate. Basically everything needed to make it run very well without changing the ORIGINAL style or parts of the truck. I’ve had a ton of fun with the truck……and now, I’d like someone else to experience the love of an old ORIGINAL FORD truck. The truck has a 3 speed “on the tree” manual shift.
