1972 BMW 2002tii was rebuilt using a 1974 BMW 2002 body from Texas (vin 4221419) in 1993 . Has engine and drivetrain from 1972 BMW 2002tii. In 1988 motor was rebuilt at a cost of $2617, total work done was $4825.94. The transmission shifts smoothly. Has a new fuel pump, alternator and regulator. Mechanical problems are stalling after the engine warms up, and it needs a new motor for heater/defroster. The headliner has a six inch stain and a couple of dime size holes. I purchased car two years ago from Hingham, MA.
