The Ultimate Driving Machine - BMW M3. Sadly, I have to sell my absolute favorite car for the downpayment on my new house. This car is a great example of an extremely well maintained, serviced and loved real Californian M3. I purchased this car from a good friend of mine who owned a European repair shop in the Sacramento Valley. I was always trying to convince him to sell it to me with no luck. Until finally, when his left leg started to give him health issues I purchased the car. He drove the car just about every day, regularly keeping up with maintenance. On the other hand, for me this car has always been a weekend machine. I only take the car out of the garage on Sundays to church or for the occasional Saturday night ice cream trip with the family. I have had a few M cars over the years and this car has been my absolute favorite. I cherish this car and hope it goes to a good home, who will appreciate the quality as much as I have. Some of the maintenance I had done before I purchased the car was the routine VANOS adjustment, fuel pump and fuel filter replacement, inspection of rear subframe, differential and transmission fluid, cooling system rebuld with new hoses and radiator, suspension bushing replacements and replacement shocks. The only aftermarket replacement items were my friends repair shop had a CSL style trunk installed and professionally painted to match, a K&N intake installed with California legal CARB sticker and a Pioneer stereo system with XM Radio, USB and AUX connections. Since I have owned the car I have recently had replaced the final stage resister unit (controls cabin temperature), routine maintenance and just 2,000 miles ago I had the original clutch replaced along with the Guido/flex disk and the center support bearing. (Both the Guido and the center support bearing were in good condition, but my mechanic suggested we replace them during the clutch job). I have receipts to go along with the car and new owner. I know there is so much more that I just am not thinking of. This M3 came absolutely loaded from the factory with all the bells and whistles. Some notable options include: premium package, rear parking sensors, Harmon-Kardon speakers, fully adjustable seats with lumbar adjustment, one touch climate control and windows, auto dimming mirror, Sport package and I am sure I am forgetting more! Overall this car is in great shape will, undoubtely make the new owner very proud. I have the clean title in hand and just passed California smog with flying colors.
