It was a 2 year quest to find this car. I don't really want to sell it, but I never drive it . It has slept in my heated/air conditioned building, under 2 covers since 2007. Before that it was owned by an elderly man and his adult son. They took really nice care of this car. Since I've gotten it, I've only driven maybe a hundred miles. For the past 7ish years, I've routinely started the car and let it run for 20 minutes 2x a year. The car looks amazing, and is a real head turner. I love sitting around and just looking at it but it's not perfect, I'd give it an 8 out of 10The bad: shallow dent on the front quarter panel, front door has a small crease, bumpers have some scratches, dash has a few 1/4" cracks coming from the vent holes, drivers bolster has a split in the vinyl. The good: Car is still a beautiful tornado Red, people think the car is only a few years old. Tires have lots of tread, new hood insulation, polished and waxed, interior is gorgeous, original stereo, dealer installed fog lights, air conditioning, owner's manuals, custom fit car cover, This a garage queen, not a daily commuter. It deserves to be driven on sunny, warm days. I hope it goes to someone that will baby the heck out of it like I have. It is rare to find an unmolested, low mileage, all original scirocco like this. I gotta stop writing this description or I'm going to talk myself out of selling it!On Nov-01-15 at 17:20:09 PST, seller added the following information: Additional comments- A few things to add: While car runs fine, It could use a new set of injector seals to smooth out the idle to make it run like new. Also, the rear passenger pillar had some touch up work done to it, the paint/clear coat is dull in one spot (visible in picture kind of...) I'll try and take another picture and upload tomorrow. Someone asked- Has the car had been in any accidents? Answer- Previous owner said it was accident free and I've inspected the car top to bottom, I couldn't find any hints of accidents either.Someone asked-How is the air conditioner? Answer- Good question, I'll inspect it tomorrow and report back.Someone asked- Where are the "Karmann" badges that go on the "B" pillar? Answer- I suspect the previous owner took them off once they faded.
