1937 Chevy 1 ton or 1 1/2 ton, dual wheels. I am selling this as a parts truck for reasons listed below. I bought this truck with intentions of restoring it and ran into trouble trying to get the title changed to my name. It is my understanding that in 1937 there was no Vehicle ID number and different states used different numbers, such as the engine number. The truck ID tag number which says car number, does not match the number on the title. I filed a lot of paperwork and still did not get a title. There is no option on this listing for no title and since this is a required field, I checked clear. I am selling it with NO title. I will provide a bill of sale only. While waiting for the title to be approved I removed the engine, the front of the truck, such as grille, radiator, etc. The engine is in pieces because the place that I took it to be rebuilt had already disassembled it for cleaning and the rebuild. Everything that was there when I bought it should be either in the cab area or in my garage with the exception of the cylinder head. I do not have the head. When removing the grille and other parts I broke the head light mounting bracket on one of the lights. The door glass is missing on both doors. I would say that the remaining glass is not useable. There is also no seat. It had been removed by the time I purchased it. You are more than welcome to come look at it in person before bidding. The grain bed appears to be in very good condition. The truck had been stored for several decades in a barn in Kansas. There are lots of useable parts. I make no guarantees as to what is there or what is missing, whether the parts are good or not. The truck is being sold as is with no guarantees at all. There will be a non refundable deposit of $250.00 within 48 hours of auctions end. The remaining to be paid in cash when the truck is picked up. Buyer is responsible for shipping. No great rush in getting it out of here, hopefully within a couple of weeks. The first picture in the listing was taken when I bought the truck and moved it out of the barn. The truck, of course, has since been delivered to me and has had the front end removed as shown in the other pictures.
