1974 VOLKSWAGEN KARMANN GHIA; Complete original car, everything is there to drive as is or to restore. I purchased this California car a year ago, drove it straight home (a 2 hour drive) without any issues. The car runs strong, stops and steers as it shouldThis VW Ghia, I believe has it's original interior, carpeting, seats and door panels all in good (driver quality condition). Dash pad is not cracked Upgraded (4) chrome tip exhaust All 4 tires are almost brand new, Kumho Power Star Tires, Has bright chrome hubcaps and VW beauty ringsElectronics all work, headlights, tail lights, flashers, blinkers, wipers, radio/cassetteInterior mechanical's work, door locks, window cranks and handle, heater levels move freely, brake pedal, and gas pedal, seat adjusters Nice new chrome beverage tray/storageNo broken or cracked glassI have the hood and engine compartment rubber seals (brand new, and go with the car) This car is 41 years old, not a concourse VW by any means, it will need to either be driven as is or restored.Needs new door and window sealsNew paint if you decide to. As stated above' there are a few paint bubbles, there is area in the pan under the driver's seat that has some kind material dabbed all over the pan in a 10 inch square area. I do not want to remove this, I will let the new buyer address it. The car is 41 years old there is going to be some rust in places.There is some surface rust seen in the front trunk (only surface rust nothing serious) area beneath the radio. The car has been repainted it appears the original color was light blue.There is no spare tire or jackI purchase the car from a VW dealer in California that stated it was a California car, I have no way to verify that.My reserve was set low because this is an original complete car, needs to be gone through.
