1966 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door Fastback Aqua Original survivor car with original engine and automatic transmission that has been stored in a garage and needs restoration. The interior is completely original, there are two seam separations on the seats shown in the photos. The engine was rebuilt in 2003 and the transmission was rebuilt in june 2014. The car runs but when you put it in gear it stalls out because of a vacuum leak in the carburetor which needs to be rebuilt. The drum brakes work great. It has glass pack mufflers and sounds cool. All of the glass is in great shape. The paint is old and semi dull, many chips mostly on the sides as shown in the photos. The uni-body and floor pans are pretty solid with some rust spots as shown in the photos, such as the lower left drivers door. The box frame rails below both doors are completely rusted out and will need to be replaced. This car is a great project to make a really cool cruiser. My price is low and I hope someone gets it to fix up. Also it has a new set of tires put on it in 2014.
