Here's the story. I bought this 70' fastback from a friend of mine with plans of restoring it. Plans changed, here it is for sale. He owned a body shop & in the mid 90's he took this car in on trade for a paint job. It was wrecked in the rear (as you can see). It did run & drive back then. He took the bumpers & lights out to start repairs, & that's as far as he got. The car sat up until I bought it from him about 4 years ago. The lights and doors panels are in the back seat. the car is mostly complete & all original including drivetrain. It does have matching numbers motor. The wheels & tires have been changed obviously. It has the 302 with an automatic transmission & a 9'' rear end. It does have the VIN # in the dash and also matching buck tag. The speedometer shows 78,137 miles. This is a project that needs complete restoration. It does have a lot of rust. He stored it outside for the majority of the time he had it. Its been stored inside since I purchased it. I Do Not Have A Title for it! It will come with bill of sale only. He said he had the title when he got the car, but lost it over the years. I do have the original shaker hood to go with it, but it is bent in the front. This car is an excellent candidate for restoration. NO RESERVE! HIGH BIDDER GETS IT!
