2007 Honda Element ECamper 4WD (EX) LIKE VW VANAGON WESTFALIA Pop Top Camper I purchased this 2007 4WD Honda Element EX locally at Hendrick Honda in 2010 as a Honda Certified used vehicle. This would be my basecamp for climbing, mountain biking, and enjoying the mountains of Southern Appalachia. I promptly went for larger new Michelin light truck tires to increase ground clearance. A type 3 trailer hitch was added to accommodate hitch mounted bicycle racks. I then drove to California and had Ursa Minor Vehicles do one of their camper top conversions. I took my time driving back climbing and enjoying places like Joshua Tree and Hueco Tanks... The Element then became the ultimate weekend warrior vehicle, road-tripping out of Charlotte. I’ve now gone from weekend warrior to traveling full-time / digital nomad, and have upgraded to a small RV. Traveling light means I’m at a fork in the road where myself and my Element must travel down different paths…...
