Up for auction is my 1996 red Mitsubishi 3000gt base model. I purchased this several years ago from a used car dealer in Kentucky. When I ran the Carfax, it said it had been involved in a driver's side collision. Before buying it, I took it to the Mitsubishi dealership in Lexington and asked them to look it over. They said there was no apparent damage anywhere on the car, so I bought it, and have enjoyed driving it ever since. Last fall someone backed into the driver's side door at one of my son's baseball tournament, so there is a pretty significant dent there (see pictures). There are also 2 medium dents on the passenger's side (also see pictures). There is quite a bit of paint chipping on the front end, and the rear fin. The check engine light comes on due to a hole in the exhaust system, which I have never had fixed, so it's a little loud. The interior is in pretty good shape, except for the driver's side door (see pictures), and some holes in the drivers seat covering. It uses a little oil, but I only notice oil smoke when it sits at idle for an extended period of time. One of the keys is broken off in the ignition, but there are no problems starting it by inserting the other part of the broken key. The emergency brake is not working. It was an every day driver for me until last year when I purchased another car. Car must be picked up locally by winning bidder. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
