We have finally decided to sell our Louise. She, and her sister Thelma (a 2007 in another listing) are up for sale. Louise is a 2006 Honda Shadow Aero 750. I purchased her in 2008 when I retired from the Air Force, and met my future wife who had Thelma (it’s probably why I fell in love with her… and why mine is Louise!). We are recreational riders, and rode mostly around the area, and on a couple of overnight trips here in Ohio. We took a trip to Niagara Falls one year. When we didn’t have the bikes out, they were kept in the garage. We had them serviced every year before winter storage. We put stabilizer in the tank, covered them, and put them along the side of the garage on battery minders. It come complete with Kuryakyn bags (which we modified and added folding roller handles), high quality Harley Davidson brand cover, and hard wired battery minder. She has highway bars, quick release windshield, locking fiberglass Leatherlyke saddle bags, Kuryakyn grips, throttle lock, phone/gps holder. She has 13,827 miles.Louise isn’t perfect. There’s wear marks near the ignition from the keys (shown in pictures), and wear on the backrest (shown in pictures) from the Kuryakyn bag. The bag itself has some wear around the corners. She’s just been serviced and the mechanic puts her as follows: Tires: 50% Front, rear 75%; Brakes: 75%. We live in Lima Ohio. If, as a successful bidder, you want to pick her up, that’s fine. There are also transport services available. I’d be happy to coordinate with whomever the buyer choses. Shipping however, is at the buyer’s expense. We’ll do everything we can to facilitate.
