Original and VERY rare 1982 CJ-7 Jeep Limited with less than 26K miles for sale with No Reserve. This Jeep is the one you want!!! About 200 of these Limited edition Jeeps are believed to have been built and it's unclear how many remain today. The option alone was $2,895 in 1982! The Silver Mist Metallic / Slate Blue combination of this CJ-7 was used by AMC to promote the Limited package. I've included original advertisement pages from 1982 below that describes the Limited CJ-7 as follows: "New CJ-7 Limited – Newest and most refined CJ-7 trim package will set well with that special breed. Limited package includes all base CJ-7 equipment plus: Power steering and brakes, AM/FM radio (2 speakers), Monochromatic paint theme with color keyed hardtop and wheellip extensions. Special body side striping, grille panel stripe, exterior “Limited” nameplates. Chrome bumper and bumperettes. Body side steps. Black painted windshield and window frames. Special LH & RH exterior mirrors. 15”x 7” color-keyed painted steel spoke wheels w/bright trim rings. P235/75R15 Goodyear Arriva all-weather radials. Special improved ride pkg. This Jeep is in excellent original, unmolested condition and to my knowledge has NOT been restored. It runs and drives great! The clear plastic seat wrapping from the factory is still intact on the underside of the driver’s seat! Mileage and southern jeep history are documented by Carfax which will come with the jeep. I've had the Jeep for over three years. Its rust free under carriage was professionally treated with POR 15 as well as a professional body buff. It is stored in a heated garage. I have never driven the jeep in winter or in rain. It's mostly been sitting in my garage receiving plenty of TLC with the occasional drive around the neighborhood! All receipts and records I have will come with the jeep in addition to a 1982 owner’s manual. This Jeep is in excellent condition, but keep in mind it is original and 33 years old! There is a small dent below the spare tire. All gauges and equipment work. The speedometer could use some lubricant (the previous owner had a replacement cluster installed which I have that shows around 1K miles) and it feels like a u-joint may soon be needed. 4WD works as designed. A/C has been serviced and blows cold. The only rust is surface and is located on the front passenger and drivers floor pans as well as on the inner surface of the door handles. The jeep needs little to nothing other than a new home! I feel comfortable driving it anywhere.
