1991 Volvo 245 wagon 5 speed Second listing - First sale the winning bidder suggested it could not be imported to the US. This has been a much loved car throughout it's life, as is evident in the pictures. A car with this many kilometers having such a great body is rare. I bought the car a few years ago with the previous owner picking me knowing I would look after it. He picked up his son from the hospital in this car when he was born, and drove him to University in the same car. Oil sprayed every year, the previous owner was so intent on keeping the car original he was disappointed when I put the 740 turbo alloy rims on the car. I lent the car to my tenant, and he disappeared with my car for three months. It returned in a sad state. I don't do my own mechanical work, and my mechanic's assessment was dire. It needs:Steering rackComplete exhaustRear suspension repair (parts in back seat may or may not be the right ones, supplied by the person who broke the car)Gas tank leaks. A replacement (used) gas tank is included with the sale Includes a set of snows on steel rims It passed the emission test the last time with flying colours, the clutch doesn't slip, doesn't burn oil, compression is great. This is a diamond in the rough, and I truly hope it goes to a home that will bring it back to life. NOT included: stereo or speakers Wooden shelf on dash (it is double sided taped to the stock shelf).
