Complete, matching numbers 1963 Triumph Bonneville T-120. This bike has been restored mechanically and performs without issues. Starts on first or second kick. It has been completely gone through and rebuilt and upgraded (12 volt system and electronic ignition and more) by The Shop in Milwaukee, WI who specialize in vintage English and Japanese cycle restoration. All work is documented with receipts shown below. There are only a few thousand miles on the bike since the major engine work. I've stayed in contact with the second owner who bought it in 1966 and learned the bike's story. As you know, these era bikes had all been modified and customized throughout the years and this early 1963 (DU342) was no exception so it took time to get it back close to original cosmetically. The frame was nickel plated early on in its life for a very unique look - the paint is not exact but can be easily taken to the original Alaskan White that was the paint scheme for 1963. It has been kept in my heated office for the past six years during the winter months. The long time second owner switched to a 1967 Bonneville front end for better performance and that remains, although I will include the (pictured) original '63 front end. The tach cable will seep oil slightly through the top/or bottom during long runs and after many attempts to block the upward stream of oil we concluded a strategically placed rag up top the best remedy. One of the two bottom front tank mount threaded stems is missing but the tank is well secured at two other mounts points. Just had the annual service done on the bike with a new battery installed and all fresh fluids. This Bonneville is meant to ride and runs strong. Since it is in beautiful condition it never ceases to attract attention wherever it is parked. I'm happy to answer any questions and provide receipts for all service in the past six years.
