1974 volkswagen thing. we are not professional restorers but the thing does look good, drives good and runs good. it has new paint, windshield, top, tierod ends. If you have questions or want more pictures please ask. Car is being sold as is with no warrantee or guarantee. please only bid if you are going to pay. $500 is due at end of sale with balance due in 3 days. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. We have a Pa. title that is marked reconstructed. . I was asked a question and for some reason it got deleted instead of posted so here is the answer.The engine doesn't burn any oil or smoke. The clutch is tight. The transmission shifts fine and doesn't jump out of gear. The shift lever is a little sloppy because the plastic bushing under it needs to be replaced. There was some rust in the body but I cut it all out and put in new metal with just enough fiberglass to smooth it out. It has a resent Pa. inspection and the garage that we use doesn't cut corners so the brakes, tires, lights and all are good. We drive the car all around here and over the mountain to Altoona so I wouldn't have a problem driving it anywhere. we do have all the windows. three are good and can go right on but one got bent by accident and needs to be straightened.
