I bought this to use for the upcoming winter,from the original owners daughter.He passed away in 2007 and this jeep pretty much sat unused the last 8 years.Hence,the low miles..It runs great..Im 6'2 my sons are 6'4.Its just a bit too small for us..so,i just bought a grand cherokee....The cherokee looks nice,runs great drive anywhere.Cold a/c hot heat,fairly rare for cherokee,cruise control and it works.I just installed 4 used but nearly new tires on 2000 cherokee limited 16 inch wheels( Im not a fan of the usual 15 inch steel wheels these have) ..........new drivers side front hub,both new front axle joints.Also,brand new exhaust from cat back.4x4 works as it should.Just changed oil.No fluid leaks.There is surface rust on natural parts underneath as usual for northern cherokees.No rot on body doors or rockers.Inside door bottoms had some surface rust only,NO ROT,and i simply wire wheeled it and put a coat of rust converter (turns black)on the bare metal spots(see pics)again NO ROT.There is a spot just above the right side gray bumper that has a rust blister under the paint....I removed the inner panel and there is ZERO rust on the inside ,so its simply in the paint and a super easy touchup.Perfect 2000 cherokees with low miles are selling for 7-18k here on eBay....please be real with your expectations.Send your number if you would like to speak to me. She just easily passed NJ state emissions today and this is good for 2 years.There are no warning lights at all on the dashboard.It has a REALLY nice VIPER alarm/auto start that remotely starts the jeep from a LONG distance away..... It also has its owners books and both factory remotes both keys and both viper remotes.I find only 2 small issues(which really aren't issues but)1.I find if the front axle joints on these cherokees are not fixed in a timely matter,there can be a whine from the front carrier bearings.No one can hear it but me...If no radio on and you concentrate you can just make out a very slight hum.You may not hear it though.2.Immediately at startup there is a slight exhaust manifold gasket leak that instantly disappears....thats it...all else is good that I know of. Sold as is here in central NJ.Clear title in my name.Its getting hard to find these cherokees with such low miles.The listed deposit is due immediately at auction end ...its still for sale to any buyer until the deposit is received.Thank you.
