1967 E-type Series 1. Perhaps the best 1967 to come to the market. It will be sold! This XKE has a wonderful history as I am the third owner- It is extremely original with only 36,250 miles. This is the original color, numbers all match. Manufactured in Feb 1967 and delivered to Long Beach California dealer. It still retains its California black plates with its original dealer license plate bezel. The car received a no-expense ground up restoration with an emphasis on the use of original components. The sheet metal, glass, bright work, fasteners, etc. are original to this E-type. The car also retains it's very rare original hardtop. Also included is complete tool kit, jack, manuals and much much more! It has won first place in many prominent Jaguar shows such as Concour d'Elegance This XKE is absolutely stunning to look at and really is a great investment-so if you're in the market for a great Jaguar please read more! EXTERIOR: The body and paint work were done to the highest levels possible- Car was completely dis-assembled and body was chemically stripped- All paint products used were highest quality products called Glasurit (German). There was no rust on the body and all panels including floors are original. All chrome, trim, bumpers have been re-chromed to the highest quality. Convertible top and frame were also restored and canvas top is like new. Hard top has perfect rear window and paint is perfect. All exterior lights including headlamp covers have been restored and work perfect. Both doors, bonnet and trunk open and close with ease. Original keys work on doors and trunk as they should. Tires are factory original Dunlops SP (like new) as supplied to Jaguar 1967 E-types which are absolutely impossible to find! INTERIOR: The inside is extremely original and shows like new. All gauges and instruments are original and work with accuracy, even clock works great! Original radio works great on both am/fm. Seat leather and carpet have been replaced using correct jaguar materials. Dash is original and is perfect condition. Tonneau and convertible top boot are original and in excellent condition. Seat belts, sun-visors, door panels etc.. are also like new. MECHANICALS: This Etype has undergone a mechanical restoration and is ready to be driven as intended. It starts up immediately and idles perfect. There are no oil leaks, runs cool as it has had an upgraded radiator and fan. All suspension, brakes, and shocks have also been restored. Exhaust is stainless steel with same factory appearance. The undercarriage is detailed to same level as the rest of the car. Alternator is also original and has been restored. For sure you can jump in and drive cross country! SUMMARY: What makes this E-type desirable is both the originality and quality of restoration. Also it is so hard to find one with its original paperwork . With its hardtop it really stands out from all other E-types and gives it an entirely Fantastic different look. I have had so many compliments on how great it looks with the hardtop on! I am sincere about selling it and hope it goes to a great home! I am NOT holding out for top dollar so any reasonable offer will be considered.
