NO RESERVE!! Up for auction: Very rare 1983 Eldorado Touring Coupe. Less than 1200 Touring Coupes were built in 1983, available in just two colors, Black and Senora Saddle Firemist, which is this Caddy's color. The Touring Coupe was a limited edition "sporting" Cadillac, with a more taut suspension, special aluminum wheels, body color trim and special badges. The body on this example is straight and dent free. The undercarriage and body are rust free. The only exception is some small bubbling around one cornering lamp, see photo. The paint is a 6-7 out of ten. Has a nice shine, but there are some small nicks and scratches around the body. The trim is ok, the chrome is faded. Mechanically sound, just completed a 350 mile trip, car ran flawlessly. Engine is smooth and quiet. The trans shifts as it should, the shift indicator is slightly off. Brakes are great, has four wheel disc brakes, tires have a lot of tread left, aluminum wheels in excellent condition. Inside, the driver's seat needs to be recovered, the rest of the seats are very good, and the headliner needs replacement. The door panels are ok, the driver's side has a crack on the armrest. Dash pad has no cracks, digital instrument panel functions properly. Equipped with Trip Computer, which works. Only the air conditioning and the radio don't work. A used working power antenna is included, needs to be installed. Is equipped with the following fully functional power options: both front seats, windows, locks, sunroof. Bucket seats with center console, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel. All interior and exterior lights work. The trunk looks like it was never used. Overall, this is a very nice driver quality rare Eldorado, that you can drive and enjoy while you restore. I have tried to describe this vehicle the best I could.
