Vehicle Detail

1959 SWB Chevy Fleetside Truck: This truck is awesome. I have personally built this truck over the past 1 1/2 years. It gets attention everywhere I go. I hate to sell it but I have other priorities at the moment. The patina is awesome on this truck. I wanted to keep the dings and dents and paint for character and I did my best to match it after I replaced patch panels. I have put over 400 miles since rebuild. The LS motor and air ride bring this truck to life. I went with top of the line components to build this truck and I have a lot of money tied up in it. Please only serious bidders only. Below is a list of the build components. I am sure I missed something. Please call 281-210-4886 with any questions. *Pinstripping was recently added. Some pictures may not show it but I have included two pictures of it in the photos. Drive Train and Frame -LS motor and Trans from a 2003 Tahoe with approx. 80k miles. 5.3 motor and 4L60e trans. Motor and Trans are stock. -2 1/2" dual exhaust with 40 series flowmasters. Holly hooker LS Swap headers. -20 gallon fuel cell, Stainless 6an fuel lines and fittings going to and from motor. Fuel lab filters and Walbro 255 external fuel pump. Pressure gauge at motor on intake. -Ford explorer 8.8 rear end 3.73 posi. Camaro rally wheels, Shaved white wall tires. New pads and rotors. Rotors have been drilled out to 5x5.75 bolt pattern. -1977 Camaro front clip welded to the frame. All new steering components and bushings. New power steering pump. 1.25" sway bar up front. Dual 400 viair compressors with 5 gallon aluminum air tank. -Frame has been step notched in the rear by professional shop with trailing arms and a panhard bar (similar to Hales speed shop setup). -Aluminum Radiator Setup for LS Swap with 3000 cfm electric fan and billet overflow container. -Ididit steering column, stainless steering shaft and joints going to the power steering box. Billet steering wheel. -Lokar 16" floor shifter and Lokar floor ebrake kit. -Brand new driveshaft and ujoints. New housings and cover for rear turn signals. Body and Interior -Pinstripping was recently added. Some pictures do not show it but I have included two pictures with the Pinstripping. -Body was completely removed from truck. Under cab was sanded and coated with two coats of POR15 and black bedliner spray. -New cab corners on both sides. New rockers both sides. New lower fender patches both sides. New lower inner door panels both sides. New Roll pan. -Frame was sanded and coated with 2 coats of POR15 and a coat of black epoxy. -Bed floor was raised to support the air ride. Inner bed lifts up to access fuel cell and air ride components. New fender tubs. Custom panel that displays "APACHE" when you lower the tailgate. -Exterior paint was blended and coated in certain areas where new panels were placed to blend the patina. -Interior paint is not perfect. There are imperfections but still looks good. 2003 chevy cobalt blue on the interior and GM white on lower dash and door panels. -New carpet with eastwood sound and heat barrier on floorboard. 2 coats on POR15 on floorboard. -Bench seat from 1983 Chevy truck that has been reupholstered. -New Vent window assys both sides, new door glass and front windshield. All new window gaskets and door gaskets. -Brand new hood hinges. Needs -The belt chirps when you first start it up. Nothing too crazy and it goes away after driving it a mile or two. I have swapped out belt tensioner pulley and it got better. Something may need a slight adjustment. It doesn't really bother me so I left it alone. -Driver door or front fender needs to be adjusted. The door catches the front fender a bit when opening. Its not to bad but will need to be adjusted in the future. -After wash, the fuel reading is off. I think because water gets on the connector on the fuel sender. That will probably need to be sealed in the future if it bothers you. -E brake will need to be adjusted. I replaced the pads in the rear and they need to be dialed in. Might need to adjust cable near lever. None of these items will prevent you from driving this truck across town or to shows. These were just items that I was going to get to if I kept it. -Dome light doesn't work, never looked into it. -Wiper motor works, I have arms but needs new wiper blades. They are not installed on truck but I will include. Videos: https://youtu.be/LOkFXVBfA10 https://youtu.be/YEU-DEuQcTM https://youtu.be/gu1bRQEqg9Q
