The engine starts right up, and purrs like a kitten with no sputtering, hesitation or smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly just like it should with no slipping or clunking into gear.The body of this El Camino is laser-straight, and the paint is a high-quality base coat / clear coat that was applied in 2005. The paint still retains a great shine with no visible scratches, dents, dings or marks. And most importantly… NO RUST! Re-painted in its original color, and possibly one of my favorite colors of the late 60’s – Ash Gold.This cruiser comes with a large envelope full of receipts from all the work performed, and parts that were ordered.
