Vehicle Detail
The truck has new paint, but still has small dings mainly on the truck bed around the rails and tailgate. Truck looks good but is not perfect. The interior is in fair to good condition with typical marks on seats, fading on door panels etc. It's a 1995 truck that has had a lot of work done to it, but still needs attention to make a perfect truck. The exhaust is there and operable, but will need to be replaced at some point. There is no radio in the truck. Over all the truck runs well and looks nice. Head gasket and reman transmission among replaced components. Selling due to heading back to grad school. Vehicle had/has no rust, have pictures of the before and after paint job as proof. $9,375.86 in parts receipts for work I personally performed(labor not included). I have the receipts for work performed by certified Dodge mechanic Sessions Motor Sports, LLC in the amount of $1,836.85 for parts and labor. Receipt for Maaco paint work in the amount of $1,500.00. Total spent $12,712 On Sep-27-15 at 10:58:10 PDT, seller added the following information: New Replaced parts: New paint by Maaco - really nice paint work, but I was not happy with them not removing all of the little dents/dings like we agreed to. I did get a 600 dollar discount which was a total of 1,500.00 paid out by me. So the paint is really nice, but not a 5 grand paint job. Most dents and dings can be hidden by bed reals and tail gate cap. Outside of a small dent in the front right fender (I have picture of this) the main reason for painting was all of the clear coat was peeling off like a bad sunburn. New Starter New Dash Top New Water Pump New Nitto Terra Grappler Tires 315/75 R16 less than 500 miles New Alloy Wheels New transmission oil line 1 each New transmission oil cooler line 1 each New serpentine belt New upper and lower radiator hoses New Batteries 2 each New battery and cable ends New oil pan drain plug and gasket New engine oil and filter New oil cooler gasket New Moveras Auto Zone Remanufactured transmission M00553 New transmission fluid New Transfer case fluid New fuel shut off solenoid New fuel shut off relay New 2.5 inch front leveling kit New front shocks New steering stabilizer shock New front track bar New left and right rear tail lights and bulbs New Power tow mirrors right and left New rear bumper New engine coolant New heater hoses New Victor Reinz head gasket New Victor Reinz intake manifold and heater gaskets New Turbo hose New fuel filter separator New temperature sending unit switch New tail gate cables 2 each New gear oil for front and rear differentials New front inner and outer axle seals New front axle u-joints New front brake rotors New front spindles New front brake pads/caliper slides/caliper slide grommets New rear brake wheel cylinders New rear brake shoes New rear brake drums left and right New rear axle seals New parking brake cable 1 each New in tank fuel level sending unit New overdrive switch on dash New intermediate shaft bushing on front axle Killer Dowel Pin block plate installed New front timing cover gasket and front seal Injector pump removed and replaced and set injector pump timing New push rod cover gasket installed on engine side under injection pump Replaced overflow valve due to low fuel pressure Worn drive shaft u-joints were replaced Later model 05' exhaust muffler and pipe was installed and works well, but I would install new exhaust down the road Needs to be addressed: The previous owner cut a 6 inch square hole in the bed for an exhaust stack which I removed. You will also see a small amount of rust through in the bed picture I sent. This was due to having left a piece of carpet under the tool box where moisture collected, but it is minimal and did not affect the integrity of the box and has been stopped. Air Conditioning works excellent when charged (takes about 2 months for it to leak down), found Low pressure port valve where Freon is introduced into the system for recharge leaking slowly. Tested this with a dye leak test. The dealership at the time did not have the valve and it has not been replaced due to my moving out of state. There are other items like the radio that I did not have time to correct/install. The driver side electric door lock operates, but is not connected to the rod so driver door has to be unlocked with the key manually. The black plastic dash around instrument cluster has a crack above where the cup holder sits and the steering wheel has the usual wear at the top which is shown in the pictures. I am unable to correct the last few items due to the truck being at my parents in storage in another state so the buyer will have to work on these to complete the truck. The truck does drive great and is very quiet and smooth for a 12 valve. Overall a great truck that I have put a lot of money and time into. Someone will get a nice looking and running truck for a bargain as the prices I have included have left out a few items and does not include my labor price or the price I paid for the truck. I want this truck to go to someone who likes the 12 valve trucks and will finish and take care of it. Email me for any specific questions and I do have the ability to email some videos of the truck running. The engine is so strong and will start before you can let go of the key. I have done so much more to the truck but have forgotten all of it. My original plan when I bought this truck was to restore it to a good driving and looking truck that can be enjoyed and used. I got about 95 percent of the way. You can do the last 5 percent and have a great truck. Thanks.
