Added more pictures of front end and grille, original pics did not show them very well, my wife and I could only push the car out of the garage so far before it went rolling down the driveway. Don't miss out. This 1940 all Henry Ford steel car is very solid. All the glass, rubber and chrome bumpers are in very good condition. The exterior paint is in good shape with some paint chips and scratches and it has always been garaged and it is very straight. The hood was repainted with matching paint and needs to be aligned, I did not bother since someone will have to remove it to install an engine anyways. I have a half gallon of red paint left for ant touch ups needed.. I paid 300 dollars to get it matched to the rest of the car. The firewall is set back 3 inches to fit a Chevy or Ford, the lower section will need to be cut for your transmission size? Small areas on tunnel need to be covered. I will supply the sheet metal for it. No Engine, gas tank or transmission. Has original front end and a chevy 10 bolt rear end with leaf springs. All three of the rear garnish moldings and front windshield moldings have been rechromed already. Just need the side window garnish moldings redone. Whitewall Tires are like new and car has a rare working glove box clock that I just had rebuilt from the clock works. I sanded the trunk and floors to bare metal painted with POR15 and installed Fat Mat sound deadener. New Leather 2010 mustang GT electric bucket seats, not mounted to floor yet. You can see from the inside of the car that is has no repair spots around the roof, doors, quarters or windows. No gas tank. Drip rails are in very good condition. Even all the floorboards and trunk are original and have never been replaced. New wiring harness and steering wheel, no steering column. I bought another old car, that’s the only reason I am selling this nice car. Only serious buyers please. I have the clear Oklahoma title in hand that matches the frame #. The car is in California.
