1966 Pontiac Catalina 421 convertible, car in nice original condition. Strong running car that drives tight and nice. Mechanical: A full mechanical rebuild has been done, including complete engine rebuild, transmission, rear end and front end all by previous owner. Ac does not blow cold, but is complete and hooked up. Exterior: Totally solid, excellent chrome, blue top with glass window. The car was repainted in the original color in 1981. Paint has faded but the body is in very good condition, straight and solid. Options: Power steering, power brakes, spinner hubcaps, original am/fm radio. Modifications: The car is in original condition except a correct 1966 421 engine has replaced the 389. The casting number on the block is 9782611 confirming it is a 1966 421 engine. Suspension and rear end upgraded to 2+2 specs. A temperature gauge and Tach have been added. Documentation: Original Pontiac window sticker dated March 16, 1966, original owners manuals, rebuild receipts and original new car title, dated July 11, 1966. Also the Fisher Body service manual which covers this car and most 1966 GM vehicles.
