Vehicle Detail
Up for sale and your consideration is my 1982 Collectors Edition Corvette. It's in Very good condition and is well maintained. i'm the 3rd owner, have owned for 5 years, adding only 4000 miles to odometer. stored indoors all the time. original paint and most everything on car is from factory. Recently replaced rotors, brake pads all around, transmission fluid, valve cover gaskets and changed A/C over to R134a. previous owner added window tint to rear hatch and drivers/passenger window to match t-tops, looks pretty cool so i kept it on. replaced other small parts over the years, fan switch, window up/down switch, fan relay, cap and rotor. starts right up and drives great. Tires in excellent shape, raised white letters. Inspection completed in July with zero issues. The only issues with the car are the power locks don't work, but the key and mechanical locks do and sometimes the car downshifts under low RPM'S going UPHILL. My local mechanic and my research tells me this is the TV cable adjustment or needs replaced. I have reduced the cost $1K on car to reflect the repair cost. I drive it to car shows and many people find my car "one of the cool factory corvettes" Don't think that i'm trying to pawn off a bad running car. I would drive this car across country with no fear of breakdown. If you want a perfect original corvette, then review what the intermittent shift problem is and have it repaired. I'm a very honest person and i have a 100% feedback with the intentions on keeping it that way. Do your research on the KBB value of this car. I'M sure you will see that this is a good price and that it will provide many years of pleasure for cruises/shows. i don't accept Paypal. contact me at end of auction for payment. i require a non refundable payment of $500 to hold car. you can overnight this or wire it. the title is free and clear. the remainder is due upon sale completion. as PA laws requires, both of us need to go to a local Notary for title change over. Car has classic plates on it and if transferable, you can have them. thank you, Rick
