Here you have it a 1954 Willys, with a Chevy V8, The truck runs and drives stops, the motor was rebuilt when it was dropped in, the frame, and drive train was blasted and painted before the motor swap, the body was straightened, blasted, rust removed, and primed, and then the truck sat, and the body was never finished, along with the bed,( it was never touched). Its a great project, for someone, who is good with body work, The good news though about the bed is, that its a dumb bed, that works, (just the floor on the bed is in horrible condition) tires are dry rotted, but hold air, and some of the glass is cracked, other than that its in great condition. The willys that is listed I ken get a transferable NY registration for an extra $100 if you need, ( NY does not issue tittles for vehicles that are younger than 1973).Any questions please call 1917 525-6425 Delivery is possible for a small fee. The truck is located on my upstate property zip 12788, not NYC, On Sep-15-15 at 17:22:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok I need to clarify about the title, New York does not Issue titles for vehicles younger than 1973, no matter what, (if you take a tittle from another state and submit it to NY DMV and the vehicle is younger than 1973 the DMV will shred the tittle and issue a transferable registration that's how NY does it). Now this truck came from Maine, which is also a non-tittle vehicle, because its last registration was farm plates, and in 1954 there were no titles issued anywhere in the USA, I have the Main transferable registration that I signed when I purchased the truck, I ken not transfer that registration to some one else because its transferred to me, In order for me to transfer the registration I have to submit the Maine registration to NY DMV pay $100 and get issued a NY transferable registration that I ken transfer to the new owner. With that being said, if you are from a state that issues tittles now no mater what year, you ken bring the transferable NY registration with a bill of sale and your state will issue you a tittle, if you come from a state that only needs an etching or a picture of a serial number and a bill of sale for a tittle issue than you will not need to spend the extra hundred dollars for a NY transferable registration. Please check with your DMV.
