The Packard is considered to be the "Rolls Royce" of prewar II American cars, also included is an overdrive transmission complete with solenoids and switches plus a front seat for all Packard 120s, a $7500 value for no extra charge. In 1939, the company introduced a fifth, transverse shock absorber and made column shift (known as Handishift) available on the 120.
