Okay folks, here's your one & only, and probably last chance to get a Honda XR650R that's like brand spankin' new. I would say this bike has less than 100 miles on it in total, and that's the Gods honest truth! I've probably only ridden it two or three times a year, at the most, and it's never been spilled. This thing is clean as a whistle. You can't imagine how much I hate to part with my beloved BRP, but I just don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. Specifics: I'm the original owner and purchased this bike new in 2001 from my local Honda dealer. Shortly after I got the bike, I 'uncorked' it and installed the factory Honda 'Power-Up' kit, which included a new intake manifold, carb jets, and a free-flowing exhaust spark arrestor. I didn't make any modifications to the air box. I also installed an Eibach 10.5 kg rear spring, as I weighed in @ around 200# at the time (I still have the stock yellow spring). I purchased the recommended Eibach fork springs as well, but never installed them. I also have Race Tech Gold Valve kits for the front & rear that I've never installed. The extra springs & Gold Valve kits aren't included with this sale, but I will make you a good deal on them if you're interested. Furthermore, in the mid 2000's I became aware of the fact that Honda had made an improvement in the clutch bushing, and so I replaced it as recommended with the new/improved bushing, even though I'd never experienced a problem with the original. While doing that, I went ahead and installed a new DP Brakes DPK clutch assembly, which works flawlessly. I also purchase a Trail Tech Vapor speedometer/tachometer computer for it, but never got around to hooking it all up, with the exception of the key switch. You will get the rest of Trail Tech kit so you can finish the install. I also have the original odometer and cable that came on it. The tires are the originals as well, and NO, they have never been removed. I never ran anything other than ethanol-free gasoline through it. Last but not least... this beast runs absolutely perfect, starts easily, and has tons of power, as one might expect. This gem has spent nearly its whole life nicely covered in my garage. No two ways about it... you'll be seriously hard pressed to find a nicer, more well taken care of XR... you absolutely WON'T be disappointed!
