1984 Jeep CJ7, 360 V8, Hardtop, Muscle Car, Renegade This Jeep CJ7 is a prized possession. I purchased this Jeep in 2005 and focused on improving its performance and curb appeal. It is rust free, well maintained, and has been garage kept. Drives straight with very tight steering system producing no wandering across the road, bouncing tires, or shaking steering wheel. I can drive it 60-70 mph without any worries. Paint is in great shape and entire undercarriage and tub interior has a full Line-X treatment providing durability against the elements. It has less than 5000 miles on a new high performance AMC 360 V8 with a deep throated loping sound from the dual Flowmaster exhaust which certainly turns heads. 4 speed manual transmission with one being a granny gear so starting in 2nd is the norm. Beefed up drivetrain and undercarriage armor is ready for any off-roading or rock climbing desired, however I just drive the family to the beach and back on the weekends. I have a hard top and metal doors for the colder months, and a fully enclosed soft top with two piece soft doors as well. I never used them. Turns those big tires with two fingers sitting in the driveway. All lights including headlights, turn signals, brake lights work great. Gauges work but not very accurately. Oil pressure gauge sometimes does not work. Fuel gauge works perfectly! Windshield wiper motor works great. The odometer shows 49K miles. The new motor has less than 5K on it. This jeep just passed NC state inspection which should bring a smile to your face. Oil, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and radiator coolant were just changed in July. This is truly a great classic jeep CJ7 that will make you proud. I dont want to sell it, but I have two boys that will be driving soon so I need to get a more practical vehicle for them to drive and not have a bay taken up in the garage! I will have this Jeep for sale locally so it could be sold at any time. Please ask any questions. The reconstructed title was a result of the new V8 engine and drivetrain added to the Jeep.  The Odometer says 48,619 and has not worked in some time.  We typically use the Jeep to run to the beach and back on nice weekends.  It has never traveled outside of the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area since I have owned it.  I have a new speedometer/cluster gauge for the Jeep which will be included with the sale.  It has not yet been installed.      $1000 is required within 24 hrs of the auction end.
