Vehicle Detail
The Good: Brand new gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, water pump, radiator, transmission cooling lines, battery, brake pads, master cylinder. The car starts, runs & drives, and stops as it should. I changed the oil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. All belts are new. The rear brakes are drums and have been rebuilt. New weatherstripping for the doors is included with purchase, as are new hinge pins for the doors (the driver's door sags). I'll also include my manual that I've been using to work on it. I think the mileage (83K) is original but I cannot verify that. All lights work as they should - turn signals and brake lights, too. The radio lights up but doesn't play (though it did the first time I put a battery in it. I don't know why). The Bad: It sat 12-13 years before I bought it and appears to have been outside because the front floorpans are rusted out. I have boards laid over the floors to cover the holes but the pans will need replacing. The rear floorpans are fine. It was hit on the passenger's side sometime before I got it, so there's a dent in the passenger's door and one right behind the door. It doesn't interfere with how the vehicle operates except the passenger's door does not lock. The rear bumper needs replacing from damage; I have already purchased a new bumper that will be included with purchase. I think with a freon charge and a new blower motor the AC would work - I haven't bothered messing with it. No warranty is expressed or implied. I would advise whoever purchases it to pick it up with a trailer, but if you live in Birmingham, AL you are welcome to drive it home at your own risk.
