1995 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. lt1 350, 4l60e automatic transmission. Leather, power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, cruise, air, tilt, etc. 124k miles, clear title. This car is best described as a project that runs and drives. Mechanically, it is pretty sound. It starts right up and runs well. It also drives down the road pretty well too. Looking at the tuneup parts, it is probably past due for ignition tuneup, but still runs pretty good. I would put cap, rotor, plugs, and wires on it before I started driving it regularly. All the power windows, locks, seats, and air conditioning works. The air conditioner leaks from the high side fitting, so for $15 plus evacuation and recharge, the ac will continue to work. The gas gauge doesn't work, I just fill it back up whenever I drive it so I always know how much gas is in it. The body needs some attention. It was originally green in color and was repainted the current blue color. It was not prepared properly and the paint is peeling and dull in places. The hood appears to have been replaced at some point and has missing hinge bolts, latches, and is misaligned. The driver side outside mirror is missing. The interior is in poor shape. The seats need to be reupholstered or replaced, the carpet is soiled, and the radio bezel was molested to put an aftermarket radio in. The convertible top is pretty rough as well, the rear window has come out of it. The window could probably be put back in and the top cleaned, but it can be replaced so cheap that I never bothered with it. The headlight motors need to be replaced. The left side is unplugged, so I assume it doesn't work. The right side linkage is mangled and wiring to the motor is cut, so it definitely needs to be replaced. The lights work, but to drive the car at night, the left side needs to be manually rolled up and the right side propped up. I never drive it at night, or in bad weather for that matter. I leave it inside my shop with the top down. Overall, the car is a project. While it runs and drives well, it is probably best suited for someone mechanically inclined. I bought the car with the intention of enjoying it while I fixed it up a little at a time, but a change in my employment has forced me to scale back on my toys. I have described the car to the best of my ability and have made no attempt to hide anything from a prospective buyer. That being said, I'm sure there are some things I have neglected to mention and somethings I don't know about. The car has a ridiculously low reserve price, and will likely be the cheapest Corvette convertible that runs and drives to ever sell! Buy it for the price of a parts car! That being said, I won't disclose the reserve price, and I won't add a buy it now price. The car is offered for sale in as is condition with no warranty expressed or implied. I encourage bidders to look at the car in person prior to bidding. I am offering free delivery within 250 miles of central NC, $1 per mile thereafter up to 5-600 miles or so. Terms of the sale are cash in person. A $500 deposit is due through paypal once the auction closes. The time to check the car out in person is before bidding and before the auction closes, not when I deliver it.
