Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1967 fastback that I bought about 10 years ago to restore when I retired. I bought the car out of Georgia and it was just a rolling chassis with no motor or transmission, and a lot of the interior pieces were missing, the car also has an 8 inch rear end up under it. I have been buying parts for the car over the years and was going to restore it the way that I wanted it. I did not receive an instrument panel with the car so I bought a tach dash for it and was going to add the wiring, I also bought other parts for the car that I will sell separately to the winning bidder if they are interested in them. Included with the car is what you see in the pictures which is some of the trim for around the doors, the roof bows, some replacement cowl panels, and miscellaneous interior pieces. The tach dash will come with the car as well as a 1967 390 GT short block and heads, GT exhaust manifolds, a toploader transmission RUG-M which is 67 Mustang 390 correct, and I still have to look and see if I have a bellhousing and flywheel, I'm not sure if I ever got them or not. Also included is a nice set of 67 front seats that I bought, a factory big block radiator, the style steel wheels on the car and a nine inch housing that's supposed to be for a 67-70 Mustang. The car and what you see in the pictures is stored at one place, and the rest of the parts that go with the car are in another garage, I'm sorry that I did not have time to get everything together in one spot before listing the car, but the parts that I am mentioning all go with the car. The car itself was factory Dark Moss Green with standard black interior and a non fold down rear seat. The only real options that the car had was power disc brakes and power steering, I do have the Marti Report on the car. As far as restoring the car it needs the common things, floor pans, some cowl work, new hood, trunk lid and some light patch work on the frame rail under the battery, it's not rusted away but it is thin and starting to get holes in it. The bottom of the radiator core support where the batter tray is also has some rust and needs some patch work, the rest of the frame rails are solid except under the drivers side where the car has been jacked up on the uni-boby frame rail and bent it up a little, it can be straightened out when repairing the floors. The doors are fair for originals as they have a little bondo in the passenger door and the drivers side I think is a little better but they are not rusted away at the bottom. The quarters and taillight panel aren't rusted out but they have been banged up and have some bondo in them as well, buyer may want to replace them, I was going to. Things that I don't have are the trim around front and back window, the vent window for the drivers door but I do have the glass. I have tried to describe the car as honestly and accurate as possible, it's been sitting for years, it has never run since I have owned it, and I have never drove it so I'm sure there plenty of little things that I have left out, some people tend to think that if you don't mention every little detail, you are misleading them. Please remember that this is a 48 year old car and if you don't know what it takes to restore one, don't buy it. I am not trying to be rude or a smart a$$ but I just want to be truthful. The extra parts that I have are an overhead console, GT steering wheel and tilt steering column, and a nice fold down rear seat. If someone buys the car at the buy it now price they can have everything that I have for the car. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up and or all shipping arrangements.
