Vehicle Detail
I need some space for a new toy, so this project must go. Although most of the important parts are there, it still will need lots of work, since I have just hung parts on as they turned up, and none are bolted securely. It came to me in pieces, and is still incomplete. Engine starts, and the gearbox is free, some smoking from the exhaust, and excess oil from breather, and an oil leak from the engine. Numbers match, and it has a Canadian ownership, (title). Mileage is unknown, I had to enter a number for Ebay. This was a beatifull bike in its day, finished in Ivory and Aztec red for the US market, and the last year for the air scoop type front wheel.Mostly, it is correct, with the following exceptions. Headlamp is the right style, but will need a hole cutting in bottom for the QD plug, (included) Headlamp ears incorrect and cut at bottoms. Chainguard is repop, and not a good one. Speedo is correct one I think, (S433/3/L) but I don't have a tach. A non working speedo is included that can be used as a core for converting to a tach. Rear wheel is off a unit bike. Oil tank is rough, would probably be better to find another. Rear fender is a UK repop from Chris Williams, but may need an inch or two trimmed off the tail, I think its too long. Gas tank is the correct 3 gal. size, but aside from some dents, needs work to the bottom mounts, one looks stripped, and 2 have studs welded in. Brake/clutch levers are correct big ball type, and most, of the custom fasteners, engine covers etc. are there. Has a tach drive timing cover. Lets be clear, this is a bike requiring a total restoration, and is nowhere near ready for the road. Assume most components require work, and ignore the paint, I threw it on in a quiet moment just to prevent any further rusting, and its poor. Having said that, it would be perfect project for the coming winter. Check the pictures closely, everything I have is on the bike, and if its not there, I don't have it. Delivery costs are the responsibility of the buyer, but I will do anything I can to assist. $500 deposit through Paypal. Full payment by bank transfer only within 7 days, or cash on pickup.
