This is my uncles car owned by him since the early eighties. He passed about a year ago and his widow has no use for the car. The car is complete with 44,103 original miles the pictures are how I found it. Since then, I have drained the fuel and added fresh gas, changed a fuel line, add a battery and fuel filter. I rolled it out gave it a very quick rinse and wash rolled it back in the garage I started it, I ran it for about 35 seconds and turned it off as I didn't want anything to break with out proper preparation from a proper mechanic expert. It ran fine with no smoke.  As it sits we are willing to sell it and the new owner can easily make it into a driver with some minor work or it would be a great candidate to restore. I am advertising it as is with out a real cleaning and detailing job because I believe the next owner will want to uncover this gem. If it does not sell I will take it to a certified Mercedes mechanic and have it professionally tuned and detailed put original rims back on and possible return to original color. I will keep it and enjoy it for awhile and then eventually sell it. It has the hard top as well, but will need paint.
