I'm selling my 1985 Ford Ranger Turbo Diesel. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and it is rear wheel drive. Body and interior are in good shape for it's age. Has a factory Mitsubishi 4D55 turbo diesel engine, these engines get great fuel economy and they can run on bio diesel. Good tires, long bed and it comes with a canopy (not in the pictures). It's a great little truck but I don't need it. It's been sitting since 2006 until the last year when I've started replacing parts on it. So far I have done the following -- new head gasket- new timing belt, new balance shaft belt, and tensioners- new thermostat - new radiator cap - new 12V glow plugs- new clutch - pilot bearing- throw out bearing- clutch slave cylinder- clutch master cylinder- new front calipers and brake pads- new starter motor- new front and rear main seals- new power steering pump- new serpentine belt This is an old farm truck that hasn't been on the road since 2006. I've only driven it around my neighborhood so I don't know how it will do on long trips. That being said, it starts up without hesitation and barely smokes any more than a diesel should. These are very rare little rigs and a lot of fun to drive. I'm sure whoever buys it will really like it. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck bidding!
