Vehicle Detail
Engine & transmission run GREAT, car speeds up fast!Might eventually need some attention, but absolutely no emergencies or serious hidden issues (READ DETAILS BELOW!!!).Features:Sunroof (works, great to have, especially during summer months), power windows, keyless entry / remote control, very good audio sound (CD), heated rearview mirrors can be adjusted by the push of a button.Inside is very clean, the cloth seats have no stains or significant signs of use, dashboard and handles have been wiped clean, floor has been vacuumed.Brand new rear brakes installed, a boxed set of ceramic front brake pads with lifetime warranty. With all this, you won't need to buy new brakes anytime soon.Oil changed relatively recently.New battery bought this year.New thermostat and some new light bulbs.Recent muffler work (flex pipe replaced recently, due to normal rusting, so it can pass the emission test).Known problems:For a total of a few hundred $ worth of work (whenever you can afford it and have the time) it can become much better, but even in its current state it is good and dependable enough to reliably take you daily to work, school, grocery shopping, etc.Body:- Front damage (esthetic - can still be driven, lights work), hood latch slightly problematic, but there is a trick solution to it and I have been driving it for 2 years, even on highways.- Minor rusting, minor scratches due to city use and parkingElectric:Due to the last accident, there is a slight power leakage, which means that if the car doesn't get driven for the battery to recharge, at least for a few minutes once every 3 days, the battery can drain by the third day, needing a jump. Since I did use it every day, this was a somewhat insignificant issue, also because when I knew I wouldn't user it, I just quickly disconnected the battery for the period I knew I won't be driving it.I've been told this shouldn't be difficult to fix, it only takes a little time to find the problem area.AC Stopped working recently, might not be difficult to fix, but I never bothered with an estimate, since I usually have my windows down and the sunroof open in warmer months. This might be related to and caused by the previously described electric problem (since I noticed their appearance about the same time) and both can be fixed at once, with one repair, it might just be a bad contact caused by the accident.Suspension:Damage to the front suspension due to city potholes. You probably won't even feel/notice this during the test drive, but I just wanted to be honest about everything, in order for the new owner to try to avoid potholes that can cause much more damage in the future if not taken seriously.Although it can be still driven just fine, even on highways, for a smoother, more silent ride on pothole-filled streets it can be fixed for a few hundred $, with parts and labor included (either way, not an emergency). No other surprise, hidden problems other than the ones enumerated above. For a total of a few hundred $ worth of work (whenever you can afford it and have the time) it can become much better, but even in its current state it is good enough to take you daily to work, school, grocery shopping, etc.I have been 100% honest, not wanting to waste anybody's time, I would appreciate serious inquiries and offers in return.Kelley Blue Book Value in fair condition is estimated over 2000 $. I priced it much lower for a quicker sale, to avoid having to renew its license plate and city sticker. If you still find the currently posted price tag too high, it's because you have not driven it yet.The main reason for selling and choosing not to have it fixed myself is because I've just bought a new hybrid. It needs to go ASAP, as I don't see the point in paying corrupt, dysfunctional, local governments even more in sticker, license plate renewal and other fees.I am the second owner, have even all maintenance records and photos of the minor accident, before the car got fixed (for serious buyers only, after the test drive). To schedule a viewing and test drive, Call 312.4936152
