I bought this truck from an old man in San Diego in 09 it was in great all original physical shape but worn out had 152,000 at 156,000 2010;had engine rebuilt (by Hans at German Motors Santa Monica) as compression was low. in 2010 restored all rubber around windows and replaced old glue type wing windows with upgraded studded ones. I put carpet kit in the seats and dash are perfect. truck is a west coast&original in excellent shape starts first time every time, leaks no fluids, approx. 8k on rebuild, new shocks, tires, cv joints I have all receipts have to sell due to recent health issues wanted to keep for the rest of my time. photos are on Ebay VW MK! I have 2 sets of original vw keys the round rubber Also the original owners Manuel, I have a service Manuel for a 78 diesel in the glovebox with it butFrankly it's from a different car it actually came with the 82LX, since it's for 78 diesel rabbit I keep itIn the glove box. Only I DO NOT have key to glovebox. Damn lost one year ago never replaced it Now both are out! Just a heads up I have original rubber key, and 2 keys for locking gas cap Also I have 4 hubcaps 3vw original 1 Audi but same size When I had tires put on in JUly they broke a couple of hubcap clips So I think 3 are missing out of 16. (Hard to find in Sants Monica) I have original jack but a cross lug nut wrench (not original but works) Late night update! Thanks for bidding.
