1962 Mercedes Benz Unimog 404 in great all round condition. Much loved rig that has had loads of great times in it - been a really great truck to own. You are not likely to have found this by accident I'm guessing most people looking for a unimog know what it is! This is the 6 cylinder 2.2 liter gas engine, the same MB lump that has been used for about 80 years. It is the 6 speed manual with 6 forward gears and 2 reverse it is 4X2, 4X4 and 4X4 locked ranges. In 4X4 locked and the extremely low 1st and 2nd nothing will stop this. It has brand new tires and brakes fitted, recently rebuilt carb and all fluids have been recently changed. All gears work, there are no issues at all with the portal axles, no overheating problems, it really runs well. It is converted to 12V and has no rust in the cab floors which can be an issue, the frame as you can see is rock solid. This mog will cruise all day at either 55mph on the highway or at 5mph in the forests it is that versatile and to top it off it will tow/pull/drag pretty much anything this side of an aircraft carrier! This is a much loved truck with a clean and clear title, a reluctant sale. I'm based in Oregon and can help with shipping arrangements and can possibly deliver for a fee within the NW.
