1998 Dodge Ram 3500 V10 Dually w/ virtually no rust! This dodge comes with a cleared title. 105k original miles only. Finding a dodge this year with this little rust is near impossible... the only signs besides tiny surface rust on under body is at bottom of doors and can see by pictures is barely existent. Please read description well for our accurate as possible walk through of this vehicle. Starting with the appearance of this vehicle you'll first notice the stout stance of the dually with its long 8' bed and club cab. Walking around it you first notice some faded paint and clear coat oxidation mainly on the hood of the vehicle. Diamond Plate runners and mud flaps are a neat added touch and in fair condition should clean up well. The 4 rear tires are like new. What stands out most is the fact that its a 98 Dodge and off the bat I do not see the typically rust and rot, the body is extremely solid. Under the hood is clean, even the break lines show No sign of corrosion. Starting the vehicle it starts right up and sounds good. All of the lights work and A/C blows cold. Interior is quite clean the dash has a few typical cracks this generation was known for. The interior fabric is pretty clean and doesnt smell, obviously non smoking previous owners. All of the accessory exterior bumper lights actually work! The driver side power window has fallen off of its track and will need to be re attached for the power window on that side to work. The other windows work as they should. Upon first drive I notice good power and sound, not very loud and quit smooth. I do however notice what seems like a second longer delay in shifts than I would normally feel from the V10 Rams it does not seem broken and runs through all the gears, maybe just needs a tune up or adjustment somewhere. It went through all the gears and highway driving went well and smooth quickly getting up to 70 MPH with no wobbles or loud sounds was enjoyable to drive. After returned opened the hood back up to give another listen and still sounds clean as it should. Going under the truck I notice the Very little amount of surface rust, will include a picture to see for yourself. Overall my initial assessment of this truck is its over all in great condition for its year. With only 105k miles it may have been stored or not used in any winters. You can cover some of the clear coat peele or leave as it is. It includes the Haines manual with it so any DIY'er could fix the window track and youll have a strong workhorse dually.
