You are viewing a true survivor 1940 Buick super 50, straight 8, This car is 75 years old and is about original as they get! Shows 39,359 miles which I believe is correct, The odometer stopped working a few months ago, but has been driven very little since, This is a rust free car which must have spent many years inside, The car runs and drives very good, The motor was rebuild 1 year ago, Starter was also rebuild at that time, The paint is original, nice 2-tone paint scheme. The paint is thin in spots and has a few dark sun spots, There are a number of chips on the lower trunk lid and right below the trunk lid,There is one small dent about pea size on the front tip of hood,All the stainless steel and the chrome is all very good, No pitting or dents, The chrome around the windows is all very nice. All glass is original, each piece has LOF Hi Test safety plate stamped on it, There are a few very small rock chips on the windshield,All door glasses roll up & down very well, All window channel is very good, All 4 vent windows open and close and lock as they should, All door locks work as well, The interior is all original I believe, it is in excellent condition, The door panels, head liner, sun visors seats all in great shape, Back seat has arm rest that drops down in the center, has foot rest and has ash tray on back of front seat, The 2 back doors have new weather stripping installed and included is weather stripping for the 2 front doors,In the trunk you have spare with original wheel and jack/tools, Trunk needs to be cleaned up a little, All 4 wheels have orange pin stripes, chrome hub caps and chrome rings, And brand new coker wide white wall tires and tubes, All lights work, including turn signals, Heater, horn, temp, amp, & oil pressure all work, The fuel, clock, radio, & speed/odometer do not work.
