Up for auction is a 36 Dodge truck built for the 2014 RATROD Magazine build off. This truck took Runner up in the open class build off. The truck is featured in the 2014 Build-Off Issue of RATROD Magazine issue #28.Truck Cab is a 36 Dodge Cab built on a 41 Chevy pickup chasis. Powered by a 71 300 straight six backed by a manual 3 speed on the floor. New Optima Battery and a gorgeous set of white wall tires. 31 Model A headlights that have been converted to have halogen bulbs to make them brighter. New Brakes all the way around with all brake lines replaced. New starter replaced at the rumble last year. Grill was modified for this trucks look. Grill is from a 38 Ford. The bed is from a 54 Chevy with 8 inches taken off. Bed floor is Oak hardwood distressed to go with truck. Door in bed opens to access battery and under truck if needed. Truck exhaust is a Thrust muffler and race tip on the end coming out in front of rear tire on passenger side. Pedal assemblies are from Speedway with master cylinders attached to brake and clutch assemblies. Hydraulic clutch cylinder was installed so truck now has a hydraulic clutch.
