2001 BMW Z3 Coupe 3.0- LOADED!

We just took this car in on t a trade deal for an Audi Avant Quattro. The car spent the better part of its life (2001-2014) between California and Seatle. The easy west coast weather shows through on this car from top to bottom. It was owned and serviced by actress Amanda Bearse before it made its enclosed journey to Ohio, and ultimately to us in Chicago. It is an absolute stunner and in its original Black Saphire Metallic paint. This is the best color combination we have seen from this year and truly believe the pictures do not do the paint quality proper justice.

Outward, the body is straight and super clean. No rust is present anywhere. The bumpers, especially the front, show in near perfect condition. The body lines are tight and consistent. We note a mark on the carfax report that states a minor accident in 2012. The previous owner had documentation of a grocery cart mishap, which we are working to collect for our records. The fender had a dent that was repaired and painted and the color match looks outstanding and cannot be located without using our digital paint gauge. The optioned 17” alloy wheels look fantastic and are wrapped in new Sumitomo tires with 85% tread life left on them. All moving panels close perfectly and are free from sagging. This car really shows in outstanding condition and we are confident that you will agree.

Inward the car is just as nice. This is a TRUE NON-SMOKER and the leathers and trims show in fantastic condition. The dash shows outstanding and all gauges are in excellent working condition. Dual power seats function perfectly as does the sunroof, windows, locks, etc... The car was very nicely optioned as you can see above. The saddle interior really grabs your attention and looks eloquent and sporty at the same time. In the rear we note that all the tools and service items are present in their proper locations. The carpets are clean and the mats are still in great shape. This was clearly a garage queen.

Under the hood sits the popular and powerful 3.0l V6 backed by the optional 5 speed Sterptronic Auto Trans. This car was clearly well serviced and properly maintained. We do not detect any leaks under the hood and all fluids look to be in great condition and at their proper levels. The engine starts up smoothly and idles perfectly. No codes or service lights were found on the computer when we scanned it so we are confident that this car is ready to go. The car drives, shifts, accelerates, turns just as nicely as you would hope. Braking is quiet and straight and we do not detect any concerning road noises.

This really is as nice as it sounds and we love that we know it was not beat on the way that most of these coupes were.
